AGCO Corp has an exciting opportunity for a high-impact Senior Manager, Human Resources to join its Human Resources Team at AGCO, located in Hesston, Kansas.
Reporting to the Director HR Manufacturing US, HR NA, the Sr.
Manager HR, provides HR Business Partnering Support to the Site Leadership, including Supply Chain/ Operations, Engineering, Materials, Purchasing, and their teams, and is responsible for aligning local, regional, and global business, organizational, and talent needs with the Global HR Strategy.
This opportunity is onsite in Hesston, Kansas.
AGCO Hesston site includes 345 acres, 1.
8 square feet under roof, and employs approximately 1500 employees.
This position will lead, direct, and coordinate the employee and labor relations activities for the AGCO Hesston facility.
Areas of responsibility may include, but are not limited to, training; organizational development and design; shop floor and salary recruiting; employee and labor relations; labor contract negotiations, contract interpretation, and grievance management; safety team leadership, policies and procedures administration; new policy and procedure development, communication and implementation; compensation administration; benefits administration; performance management; oversight of payroll processes; leave of absence administration; guidance on all applicable federal, state and local laws; personnel records management, and new employee orientation and onboarding.
What you will do:
Provide leadership and influence for all levels of management, all business functions, and team members in instituting and executing organizational strategic initiatives and HR processes and systems in order to improve and positively impact business effectiveness and profitability and raise cultural and employee engagement.
Educate, coach, and counsel members of the organization on performance management programs and procedures, employee engagement, development, and diversity actions to build teams who fully contribute to meeting or exceeding goals.
Recruit salary and shop floor employees using pre-employment selection processes, recruiters, and college recruiting, including media selection/advertising, relocation coordination, orientation etc.
Identify, develop, and lead training, learning and development, and workforce optimization actions; initiate cost-effective delivery systems to meet those needs, and facilitate leadership development modules.
Provide strategic influence to management on company policies, work rules, collective bargaining agreements, and applicable federal and state regulations to ensure fair and consistent delivery of human resources and labor relations processes, products, and services.
Lead and participate in the planning, implementation, and management of goals, objectives, projects and initiatives, budgets, HR GAP Analyses and improvement actions, organizational development, and communication strategies that deliver accurate, consistent, and timely information and processes relative to meeting or exceeding business and employee expectations.
Research, develop, and execute best practice concepts to ensure the organization utilizes leading-edge human resources tools, processes, resources, and new strategies.
What you will bring:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Labor Relations or a related field is required.
MBA and PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
Experience gained from at least 10 years of multi-faceted human resources experience, with at least 5 years at a manager level managing others within the labor relations and human resources functions, in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with Union labor.
Knowledge of labor, employment and environmental health and safety laws and regulations.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS SharePoint) and experience with HRIS Systems.
Strong negotiating, planning and project management skills and ability to apply these skills in effective working partnerships across organizational lines; experience in coaching line managers.
Excellent oral/written communication skills, including group facilitation and presentation skills; excellent interpersonal skills, including leadership, influencing, and relationship-building across functions.
