The AGCO Precision Ag and Digital Division has an exciting opportunity for a Solution Architect to join its team in delivering extraordinary results based in Hesston, KS.
Relocation assistance is available with 20% travel expected.
This is a role with growth potential and developmental opportunities.
The Solution Architect will be responsible for developing and managing the electronic, network & software architecture for harvesting platforms.
The Solution Architect will play a key part in the definition and development of the global machine control E/E architecture for AGCO and will guide and support the implementation of this architecture in all platforms.
What you will do:
Evaluate business requirements and derive solutions in the form of products or services.
Responsible for the technical vision of harvesting electronics Key leader in introducing and implementing new technology solutions.
Generate architecture and interface proposals with different trade-offs, taking alternative solution implementation strategies into account.
Coordinate with the Global Architecture team to develop and deploy best practices across the E/E organization within AGCO.
Drive implementation of the global architecture solution within the harvesting platforms.
Define and document technical interfaces, abstraction layers and other elements of the software architecture.
Identify and utilize development tools and practices to fulfill Functional Safety requirements.
Closely collaborate with cross-function, multi-brand and cross-platform teams located at several facilities to drive reusable and common systems and components What you will bring:

years of experience in the disciplines of Software Architecture, Systems Engineering related to software projects and/or Electronic Controls Software development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of electronic control systems for self-propelled and tractor mounted harvesting products.
Experience developing electronic controls software for harvesting products.
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related engineering discipline is required A plus if you have:
Experience with automotive and/or industrial E/E architecture solutions and software development frameworks.
Experience working with agricultural equipment or large industrial equipment.
Experience with automotive and/or industrial E/E architecture solutions and software development frameworks.
